While I agree about running the most conservative candidate, we have to face the fact is that we can’t win the general without the wishy washy independents and they despise Palin as much as the libs do.

I have heard that argument before,its the argument that gave us John McCain.

appealing to the squishy middle instead of a candidate who reveres conservative values ignores many things. Current polling already shows more middle of the roaders are willing to vote for us than the left.

The left has a record of disaster ever since 2007 when they took over Congress.

If we present a good God fearing conservative believing candidate and he/she has to run against Barak Obama when a middle of the roader gets in the booth I am willing to take a chance that they will do the right thing. Sooner or later even squishy middle of the roaders wake up.
