Every word you write is likely true BUT that doesn't state the real issue. The issue is WHO is most likely to defeat Obama. That person is Perry. We cannot afford a fight between us, we must remain unified in our desire to defeat Obama.

At this point, I believe (I may be wrong) that our contest will become between Romney and Perry. Who do you want? I'll take Perry.

Perry is my governor. I’ve voted for him in every race since he ran for Ag Commissioner. I WORKED FOR HIM as a volunteer when he ran for Ag Commissioner, his first statewide race in 1990.

He is no Sarah Palin. You might be satisfied with simply slowing the rate at which we go to Hell in a hand-basket. I’d like to reverse direction. Palin is our only opportunity to do that.

Perry - albeit better than Romney - will not reduce the size of government or turn federal power back to the states and people. It is not part of his make-up.

Wrong.

Obama is loathed by many if not most Americans. I think there's good chance he won't even be the nominee, and if I'm right, YOU will be repeating the same old "anybody but" maneuver that had just about everybody about this time in 2007 thinking "the issue is WHO is most likely to defeat Hillary" -- and the odds-on fave was Giuliani. We know how that worked out.

The issue is WHO is most likely to rally Americans to a movement to reduce the size and scope of the Federal government and enable prosperity. I believe that person is Palin.
