Perry’s Transcripts Leaked…Still Waiting On Obama’s
Flopping Aces ^ | 08-05-11 | Curt

Well isn't this something...you think Fox News hacked into someone's computer to get these transcripts? Oh, I forgot, it's a Conservative so getting some transcripts isn't really that big a deal:

The Huffington Post was passed Perry's transcripts from his years at Texas A&M University by a source in Texas. The future politician did not distinguish himself so much in the classroom. While he later became a student leader, he had to get out of academic probation to do so. He rarely earned anything above a C in his courses -- earning a C in U.S. History, a D in Shakespeare, and a D in the principles of economics. Perry got a C in gym.

Perry scored poorly on the basics within his animal science major. In fall semester 1970, he received a D in veterinary anatomy, a F in a second course on organic chemistry and a C in animal breeding. He did get an A in world military systems and “Improv. of Learning” -- his only two As while at A&M.

"A&M wasn't exactly Harvard on the Brazos River," recalled a Perry classmate in an interview with The Huffington Post. "This was not the brightest guy around. We always kind of laughed. He was always kind of a joke."

Dave Weigel asks:

Cool. Where're Obama's?

It's quite interesting that the MSM only finds it worthy to investigate a candidate's background and education when it involves a conservative.

Wow, the poor wittle victim Rick Perry.

He’s getting so picked on. Makes me want to cry.

He’ll have to go through a lot more than what I’ve seen before I’m going to shed a tear for him.

He hasn’t gone through a tenth of what Governor Palin has had to endure.

Another thing that’s cool is that what?, 8 out of 10 voters have the very same academic C average, and are smart enough to know Obama is a flop on economics and OBVIOUSLY Perry isn’t. Cool. Texas. It’s Exhibit A.

Perry has never been known for being brainy. I know lobbyists and others that have been in the room with "W" and Rove when "W" referred to Perry buy the nickname Bush gave Perry. As you know Bush was always giving people nicknames. In Perry's case Bush and Rove refer to Perry as "The Dumbass".

With that said you really can't call Perry stupid. Especially when it comes to politics. Perry has been very savvy in that regard. Overall. But not always as one can see with illegals, Gardasil, santuary cities, the TTC, etc. I find this transcript thing with Perry interesting. Knowing Perry and knowing how he is politically savvy I'd bet a new crisp Ben Franklin bill that Perry either knew this transcript thing was coming or more likely he is behind its release.

Perry, Palin, Romney, a carp, a bunny, etc. Anything but Obama. And as far as Perry goes I've never seen any indication that he hates this country. Quite the opposite, he was in the military, etc.

Dirty little secret - most candidates for high office are not very bright. They are slick charmers and often come from pedigreed backgrounds where life’s path has been made for them.

Think Bush, Gore, McCain, Kerry, and now Obama. They were C-minus students (Gore actually flunked out) in non-challenging studies, like political science and economics.

What they all have in common is a priveleged background, wealth, family contacts, admission to Ivy League colleges, career entry at elevated levels, and political connections that give them opportunities scarcely earned by talent or hard work.

Given their background, it is easy to see why they can’t tolerate a Palin or Bachman or Cain or West who came from less exalted backgrounds and got to their place in life by hard work and talent.

Here’s a challenge to anyone out there: I have $100 for anyone who can prove with valid metrics (not opinions) that Barack Obama is smarter than Sarah Palin.

I have noticed this so many times. IMHO it's one of the most blatant media biases.

If a Democrat somehow illicitly obtains information on a scandal or such, and reveals it, they are lauded by the MSM. They are heroes. They are wonderful for exposing evil. Absolutely not a drop of attention is paid to where or how they got it. Story after story is printed on how this brave whistleblower has made the “people aware” of this horrid corruption.

If a Conservative finds something, even in passing, if he shows some emails that reveal something bad a Democrat does, he is pilloried. Instead of being a hero, he is a creep. He will probably be prosecuted. Even if the person is a true victim.

The NY Times I've noticed especially takes leadership on this. Like clockwork, they will zero in on the Conservative that dares expose Democrat corruption. They lead on this, and the rest of the MSM takes their cues.

We can all name example after example. The response is absolutely kneejerk from the media. Circle the wagons to protect any liberal, no matter how dirty.

Republican whistleblowers are untrustworthy malcontents.
Democrat whistleblowers are uncompromising heroes.

Oh yeah, more anonymous sources.

Well, the Harvard guys have demonstrated beyond a shadow of a doubt they’re world class screw-ups. We’ve got one in particular who we were assured possessed a stunning intellect but cannot in fact find his way out of a dimly lit room.

Also, the Huffpo talking about jokes is more than just a little ironic.

Yea, I know, we've already established that facts/the truth aren't real important to Perry's loudest supporters on FreeRepublic, just rhetoric and perception.

SO stupid he flew these.

SO stupid he's won every election he's ever entered.

SO stupid he's got people begging him to run for president.

To the Left .... Kerry, Gore, Obama, Edwards, Carter, Dukakas, Clinton, etc -- they're ALL brilliant.

Oh wow, so Perry got 5 C’s and D’s in his 128 hours of undergraduate coursework. How about the other 123 hours? Seems like I bombed out a few times until I figured out professors are not there to teach, but just to lecture.

Seems like he did quite well and completed Air Force jump school at A & m, and become a pilot in the US Airforce afterwards.

And of course tenure as a conservative (even democrat) is notorious and his success as Texas Governor is written in stone!

But to the dregs of life in DC and the commie writers at Huffpo, if you’re not a scull and bones lawyer, you just don’t qualify for anything.

I know a guy who flunked out of A & M and went on to earn a doctorate in History at other universities.

In fact, I know a lot of guys who flunked out of A & M in those days. The "corpse" took up a lot of time.

BTW, Perry can pronounce corps.
