Not surprising at all. Conservatives practice diversity by being open minded and assessing things on their merits. Liberals flap their gums about diversity while shutting anything out that isn’t approved by the political correctness doctrine.

I actually enjoy family time with my liberal relatives. I don’t want to talk about politics with them but I can have a good time with them.

In fact I’ve found that I can actually influence them a bit simply by being myself. I fly in the face of everything they think they know about conservatism which leads them to wondering if maybe they aren’t wrong about other things.
