“one thing is clear: No one won.”
BS.
The government won and the taxpayers lost.
It is not that hard to understand the failure of the king.

Mostly correct, except as Rush stated, Obama won.
He wanted only one thing and he got it: no more debt ceiling issues until after the 2012 election.

Rush stated today that Vladimir Putin of Russia was complaining about our excessive borrowing and that the Chinese were saying the same thing.
Rush posited that the Russians and Chinese must have joined the TEA Party because they are sincerely concerned about American debt and the ability to pay our bills.

“The government won and the taxpayers lost.”
For now, but eventually that house of cards will crumble under its own sheer weight.

Per usual, Rush is right. Obama is quite successful in exacting his agenda on the U.S.

“He wanted only one thing and he got it: no more debt ceiling issues until after the 2012 election.”
He’s not totally unscathed. He is currently the proud owner of a 42% approval rating, according to Gallup.
Make no mistake about it, Chairman Obama was handed a lifeline by the RINO leadership of the Weeper of The House and Mitch McConman.

Inflation is a tax on savings. Usually, we tax income or spending (sales tax), or even inheritance. We think of our savings as OURS, nontaxable.
But deficit spending causes inflation, and our savings depreciates in value. Those who are retired, living on interest from their life savings, are about to be put into the poor house. The new deficit ceiling was built on the backs of retired folks.

Almost time to hit the “Reset” button. Not looking forward to it but I am afraid it is inevitable.
