I don’t identify as a tea partier although I agree with some stuff. They should be told that Republicans support them, not the tea party.
They are using that as a fear tactic.
I, personally, am a Conservative and Republican first.

Hate or fear...us.
Republicans want Tea Party to just go away so it can nominate RINOs who will reach across the aisle, etc. like things used to be.
Democrats see us as a threat to their ideology and world view.
But here’s what doesn’t make sense: If they could somehow blame this all on the Tea Party right now and diminish it’s power, it’ll be RINO vs. Obama and Obama will have a fight on his hands because so many Independents will desert him. But if the Tea Party remains strong, the Dems know it will split the R vote and give Obama a 2nd term.
So this may come down to what Democrats want worse: another term for Obama or to win the debt ceiling battle.

They will blame he new kid in town. Nobody else will bring up the 800 days. The RINO’s are jut dying to jettison the Tea Party. Gaining a beachhead is just part of the war. They need reminding that we will not just go away.
