Still sad what and how it happens. Don’t think there is anything you can do for someone that is hooked until they decide themselves. Lost a few friends. Either dead or ruined their lives. Sad.

Yes. I was thinking this as well when I heard about her binge. I know too many that have been down her same path sadly. But also many who said, "i'm done," and had a new life unfold. It goes one way or the other. I was blessed to 'get it' at 21. People questioned when they hear the age I got sober. All I remember is that Amy had nothing on me, but I just got it earlier and had a chance at a full, rich, blessed life.
Recovery isn't for those that need it, but for those that want it. She didn't want it bad enough.
