I know I don’t hear too well, but I’m sure I heard her say that she does not approve of raising the debt ceiling, but it looks like they are going to do it anyway, so we should get the best deal possible.

I think you heard correctly. That's what I got out of it too. But consider that for a moment. She stood on the sidelines and said they are going to do it anyway so we might as well get something out of it. Let's apply that concept of leadership in another scenario ... "prostitutes are going to sell sex anyway, we might as well get income tax out of it." Or ... "dopers are going to smoke weed anyway, we might as well get sales tax out of it." Saying that habitual spenders are going to continue to rape America, so we might as well get something out of it is not acceptable. I think she mis-spoke. And I think when she reviews her position she will correct it. Certainly the Palin I voted for when she campaigned with McWhathisname would not stand for such political relativism.
