Serbs have NEVER been “Crusaders” or “Templars”. Orthodox Christians have been targets and victims of the Crusaders—think Constantinople 1204 (4th Crusade) and the “Northern Crusade” of the Teutonic Knights against Orthodox Russia. Then there was the total slaughter in Jerusalem in the First Crusade—Jerusalem was majority Eastern Christian at the time.

Either Breivik’s Serbian (and Greek) associates were nominal Orthodox who were ignorant of their history, or Breivik is spinning a fantasy. I believe that the latter is the more likely of the two alternatives.

I am not Serb nor have Serb family members, but have a great deal of sympathy for them.

The men and women in the U.S. that I have met that have Serb ancestry have always impressed me as being intelligent and honorable.

I did not write the article, but found the details of his affiliation with whatever group he has joined both interesting and troubling.

I don’t believe that Breivik knows who he actually is associating with. Do you remember how Bin Laden laughed as he saw pictures of the planes flying into the Twin Towers, he laughed because only a few really knew they were flying to their death.

Serbs have a special understanding of Muslim brutality. They have been the keepers of the gate for a long time.

I do not believe that Breivik executed this alone. Not possible. I am not sure if the help he received was a Serb (Orthodox religion not implied).

Surely he does not think he is on the forefront of a Continental Revolution. But that is what he seems to be saying.

The U.S. stepped into uncharted waters when they prohibited an established religion, but free exercise and choice. They knew and stated that although they did not allow a state religion, that the form of government they cast could only survive with a moral (hence religious) people. The absence of that is what multi-culturalism creates, society with no moral mooring is a prescription for disaster. That is what Europe and the U.S. are both facing.

Breivik’s actions speak much more than his words. His action indicate that he is not what he says he is.

That question that begs an answer is: Who is he really aligned with. There is talk that he posted on Neo-Nazi sites. His own words stated that he was not sure there was a God. Yet he, or someone, called him a conservative Christian. (he is obviously neither) But there is some evidence that the source of that label was bogus.

Now, What is real and what is an illusion?

If you search my posting history you will find many positive posts concerning Serbs. A long standing record on that.
