Agreed. The pages that I have read of Berwick’s Manifesto reflect deep research and rational thought about a serious problem. The Unabomber was misguided, in both thought and action. Berwick’s methods are abominable, but his thoughts are as profound, if not as humorous, as those of Mark Steyn.

Very simply, I guess what I’me trying to say is that insanity can appear anywhere, even in intelligent, right-thinking people. It does us no good to deny it. Instead, we have to study and figure out the best way to prevent another such occurrence. He was right about the stifling of speech by the MSM. Perhaps that is where we need to direct our efforts. It is my feeling that the MSM is somewhat culpable because they do try to stifle speech. Perhaps this wouldn’t have happened if he felt his voice was being heard seriously, rather than ridiculed.

I've seen the video based on the Berwick manifesto and I have to agree with almost all of it. I'm starting to read the manifesto and so far, it is dead on. I just think something snapped in this guy, the Norwegian shooter, in order for him to do this. I would have to ask a whole load of questions. Is he under extreme financial pressure? Girlfriend problems? What is his job situation? I can go on and on. I'll also like a full medical examination, I keep thinking of the Austin shooter, Whiteman, back in 1966, they discovered in his autopsy that he had a brain tumor.

Kaczynski wrote like a madman. The crazy was all over every page.
Breivik doesn’t. He’s eloquent and clear-headed. Even the sections where he’s plotting attacks read like a really well-written walk-through for a Fallout video game or something. It’s surreal.
This is a really uncomfortable reading experience.
