Kook Lefty Bloggers Say Sarah Palin, The Right, Caused the Norway Massacres
American Spectator ^ | 7/23/11 | Matthew Vadum

Often the Left is so predictable.

While Norway mourns the deaths of the 92 (so far) shooting victims, kook bloggers at FireDogLake, Democratic Underground, and elsewhere are already labelling the alleged killer to be "right wing." This meme appears to have started with a comment made by a Norwegian political science professor who speculated that the shooter might be "right wing."

That is one approach a well-armed/trained, and alert group of citizens who are willing to act to protect others.

Now, what about New York city, Chicago, etc. where people like this are sitting ducks just like everyone else?

We had the VA. Tech massacre a few years ago. No private guns on campus. Over 30 dead.

My son, a police officer, cannot carry his private, registered/licensed handgun off in DC, or in Maryland. He is supposed to protect govt facilties from terrorists yet he cannot be armed going to or from work.

Our govt is really fucked up and people will die because of it.

I’ve been in this arena for many decades and we are as vulnerable today as we were in the late 60’s, or even more so. Stupidity rules, from the White House to the politically correct FBI and some police departments, Dept. of Homeland Security (the worst govt agency in creation), and the too-often blundering ATF.

I day this seriously, not being a wise a$$...Change the second part of your statement to mirror the 1st. I know...easier said than done, but that IS the only realistic answer. Until we end the lib nonsense in Washington and our own communities, we are well and truly doomed.

Man, she’s powerful. And I thought she was an incompetant quitter.

And she reaches right across the ocean and murders babies in their beds! Wow.

I haven't read the manifesto but I watched the video.

An isolationist, he wants Norway to be Norway. Norwegian people, values, culture not some muddled, middling, multicultural Marxist and Islamic state which he sees the EU becoming.

He finds Marxism has crowded out national identity in education and the press with opposition belittled, dismissed or attacked. He finds high risk in a Marxist-led European Union believing it would follow other failed states before it like the Soviet Union in killing millions or follow the bloodshed that has come with prior invasions from Islamic radicals over the centuries.

Along with the Marxists, he takes issue with the Nazis and pre-enlightenment Christendom as blood-shedding imperialists.

This isn't about ideology or racial supremacy but national identity.

Even after the video, I can't see the connection between the attacks and his goals. How are they a means to further his cause rather than cutting the legs out from under it and playing into the very Marxist propagandist hands he fears.

A comparison of his views with Palin, the Tea Party and American Conservatives and so forth requires lots of mental pretzel twisting and disingenuousness.

None of those are isolationists like he is, none of them oppose immigration in the way he does. There's some pride in national identity but that's hardly unique. Conservatives, Palin, et al. want lawful immigrants who want to join us, become part of the larger American community, not carve out Balkanized zones for foreign nationalist identities on American soil. Multiculturalism is poison, the melting pot is strength.

Problem is the national identity of the European right wing is based on racial identity. When we speak of national identity, we refer to our shared ideas and values and it doesn’t matter if they are shared by an hispanic conservative governor in New Mexico or an African-American running for the GOP nomination.

I think what the Lefties mean is that, if they had committed this crime, it would be because of Palin. Palin drives them nuts.

The answer is obvious. Christianity needs to be made illegal throughout the civilized world. /s

“Sarah Palin was seen leaving the home of singer Amy Winehouse shortly before Winehouse was found dead”

I believe NOAA also has bulletproof evidence that Palin is responsible for the recent heat wave sweeping America...

“Right wing” in Europe is still statist, collectivist. Yet the libtalkers will still pin any free market type as the same as “right wing fascist racist sexist homophobic....”

I am going to have to do some intel listening tomorrow evening - see how the lunatic Mike Malloy interprets this.

I fear he may well be some incarnation of right wing relative to Norway’s issues and given he’s written volumes it won’t be easy to ignore

For every thousand left-wing nuts the media tries so hard to ignore, they come across a right-wing nut who must be exploited to maximum effect in order to further bury the left-wing nut armies...

There are still unanswered questions. For example, does Sarah Palin like Norwegian Butter Cookies? Where there is smoke there is fire and I'm sure the moonbats will get to the bottom of this just like they did in Tucson.

It’s so funny when the left goes through massive gyrations trying to paint our hands to be dripping with blood as a result of some massacre. You can just feel their sinister, oozing hatred toward us that wants to mow us down with machine guns and put us in concentration camps, using some manufactured Reichstag fire to justify it. Hypocrisy so thick you could use it as the foundation for a new house.

They’ll say “well you were too quick to blame this on the muslims!” Yeah excuse us for thinking we should be concerned about people who want to stone bikini babes for not wearing burqas or hang people suspected of being gay. I mean, who are the liberals for, anyway?

This one may have had some ‘right wing’ beliefs, but I have never seen any sane right winger advocate murdering children in a terrorist action.

The left on the other hand, from Stalin/Mao to their calls for “revolution” against ‘the man’ in America, does that quite often.

How many of these lefty bloggers do you think have Che t-shirts in their closets?
