All recent polling indicates like this thing is going to backfire, on Obummer, like pi$$ing into the wind, as long as the RHINO’s don’t come along with a sop rag to clean it up.
Default has been the RAT plan for two months or more.
IF they could have gotten $3 trillion in new taxes, or IF they could have gotten Congress to abdicate in favor of Obama, then we wouldn’t default.
But those were longshots. Default, and especially holding the SS checks, has been the enemy’s main axis of attack since May.
He wants his way and he wants it now. And he thinks he’ll galvanize seniors into berating the Republicans into giving him his way.
I have faith, despite the polls, that seniors and reasonable Americans will see through that and realize he did not HAVE TO delay those checks.
This could backfire on him tremendously, and destroy his presidency.

Since when is Social Security an "entitlement"?
I PAID into Social Security during my entire working career, and my employers also PAID into my Social Security account for that same period.
In other words, my SS account is my investment account supposedly "managed" by the US Government, and money now being paid to me from my investment account is - most definitely - not an entitlement.
If payments are stopped, Barack Obama should be tried and impeached for theft from seniors.
