Washington (CNSNews.com) Maryland Gov. Martin OMalley (D) said that House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and the dinosaur wing of the Republican Party are actively trying to ruin the economy by undermining debt-ceiling negotiations.
Speaking to reporters at a Capitol Hill news conference Thursday, OMalley said certain elements of the GOP are trying to undermine the economy to harm President Obama politically. OMalley claimed that these Republicans are trying to either push the country into default or hurt the economy by cutting government jobs.
I believe that there are some members some members of the Republican Party who, in order to defeat President Obama in the next election, would like to kill the jobs recovery now, either by default or by massive sudden cuts to public sector jobs, OMalley said.

Just like every "news" reporter in the LameStream Media has forgotten that fact.
Also funny how the “dinosaur wing” is made up of the youngest of the GOP. What does KOS/O’Malley call the wing that does not want to “hurt the economy by cutting government jobs.”?
The only thing I see the GOP trying to kill is itself.

Hey Mallard, AKA Crap for brains who Exactly Foisted the Commie Care on us? BTW stick that where the sun does not shine!
Dinosaurs? How ironic, since Ted Kennedy once called himself “Tyrinosaurus sex!”
We’d have to be able to locate a recovery before we could kill it.
These people are trying to save what is left for the young people, and the people trying to maintain the spending and taxes that they are used to for their comfort are fighting like a cornered wolverine to raise taxes and raise the debt limit. If they do it, my kids and grandkids, as well as yours will pay. They will be poor compared to the rest of the world because of the life styles of the people today. I for one say give up a little bit now. Save some for them. No debt increase. No more new taxes.
