Lastly,over the last twenty to thirty years a coalition of blacks, homosexuals, Non-Christians, Mexicans and Asians formed for the purpose of " their rights" and began to gain control-(Translation oust the whites and seize the wealth!) It is truly a growing mess out here. My wife and I have been thinking of leaving over the last few years as our last child has now "flown the nest."
You’re my contemporary, my being born in ‘43. Living in Illinois for most of my life, I can say California is not alone in its ‘diversification’. Being an agricultural state except in our urban areas, we have our own influx of illegals that we deal with, along with their inherent activism. Not as advanced or infused as your region, but here nevertheless.
You paint an ugly picture, and I don’t blame you for considering a move. Just, be careful where you pick, if you pick. More and more areas of the country are being infiltrated as I note above, and you could well be making a change that isn’t as opportunistic as you may think.
