I’d imagine Americans have offspring all over the world at any given time. That doesn’t mean these children aren’t Americans.

Sure they are. But to be NBC, BOTH parents need to be citizens. And Mommy needs to be old enough to pass on citizenship.

Are you suggesting that a child born in the U.S., to two U.S. citizen parents would not be a natural-born citizen if the mother was not "old enough to pass on citizenship"?
