Knock yourself out - research and prove that the birth certificate is false to your heart’s content. I’m not discouraging that.

What I’m discouraging is thinking that it will make a practical difference short of some cataclysmic event that changes the majority of people’s fundamental opinion of Obama for the worst.

At the end of the day, people believe what they want to believe and the majority of people don’t WANT to believe that their president is illegitimate, any more than the Germans back in the 1930s wanted to believe that their rulers were genocidal monsters.

This is how tyrants have always been able to rule over otherwise decent people — people are disinclined to believe the worst of those that rule over them, even when those rulers are monsters.

Gee! That's a lot of words on the “Give it Up” debating tactic.

I am so unimpressed. Surely you could come up with something more original.

Hm? I have a suggestion! Check in with the DNC. They may have some fresh talking points to use.

By the way....you are **wrong** about the American people. The polls show that the less than half of those polled believe Obama was born in the U.S.

Obama’s in trouble and his forgeries are a big part the poop swilling around in the toilet.

Amusing Juxtaposition. Hitler was born in Austria, and He wasn't a "natural born citizen" of Germany either. (smile) He was challenged on his "Germaness" but they let him stay in office, though he really wasn't eligibile. We all see how THAT turned out.

It is a collective form of delusional insanity that is incompatible with and antagonistic toward the truth.  It is that contrived and self-serving manifestation of human nature that has repeatedly, throughout history, disarmed truth of her natural weapons.     It is Ba'al, the natural state of affairs that humans will inevitably collectively gravitate toward, where government, instead of being an instrument for securing the inalienable rights of the individual, becomes a subjugating object of mandated worship and servitude --- from which the American founders sought to protect themselves and their progeny with the 1st amendment, and the 2nd.
“truth is great, and will prevail if left to herself, and is the proper and sufficient antagonist to error,
and can have nothing to fear from the conflict, unless (by human interposition) disarmed of her natural weapons
– free argument and debate: errors ceasing to be dangerous when it is permitted freely to contradict them.”
-- Thomas Jefferson
An American citizenry that willfully discards its ability to perceive the Truth with its own free mind, and to articulate it in with its own free voice --- is only vestigially American, and the bull excrement is headed for the wind tunnel.
