'I do not understand what I think is the maligning and maliciousness [toward] this president,' said Jackson Lee, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus. 'Why is he different? And in my community, that is the question that we raise. In the minority community that is question that is being raised. Why is this president being treated so disrespectfully? Why has the debt limit been raised 60 times? Why did the leader of the Senate continually talk about his job is to bring the president down to make sure he is unelected?' "

Here we go again. Blah, blah, blah, racism, yadda, yadda, yadda, more 2+2=5 crap.
If you'll notice, True Believer, Congress Critter Jackson-Lee isn't worried that the United States is heading towards the greatest financial disaster the world has ever seen. Conress Critter Jackson-Lee isn't worried about the coming social unrest that will come with the financial disaster. Congress Critter Jackson-Lee hasn't lost a wink of sleep knowing that the financial collapse of the United States of America will be the spark that will set off World War III. None of that matters to Congress Critter Jackson-Lee. All she seems to care about is chanting "Yes We Can!" and playing the tattered race card, consequences be damned. (In other words, she wants to party like it's 2008.)
This crap is precisely why the Weeper of the House John Boehner needs to grow a spine. This crap is why Rectal Itch McConnell needs to cease and desist all efforts to come to a compromise. The Democratic Party of JFK is dead and has been replaced by the Democrat Party of today, which is nothing more than a motley collection of race hustlers, socialists, and whack jobs. Like their jihadi friends, the Ignorant Left can no longer be counted on to negotiate in good faith or use common sense. They're nothing more than insane ideologues and should be treated as such. Boehner and McConnell need to stand firm and say: "Enough is enough. We're finished negotiating. We have long since passed the point of no return. The Republican party stands for not just for fiscal sanity, but sanity itself. If the Democrats want to jump off of a cliff, that's fine. We're not holding their hands on the way down."
The Republican Party must remember exactly why We The People brought them across the finish line in last November's massacre: We The People want sanity. We The People realize the gravy train of endless social programs and Bridges to Nowhere have bankrupted the country. We The People also realize that Chairman Obama has the economic sense of a heroin addict and cannot be trusted with one more thin dime, let alone another couple of trillion dollars (which, let's face it, would be coming from Red China) that raising the debt limit would give him. Yes, the lazy and arrogant mainstream media will outraged, but We The People have learned to tune them out a long time ago. Let them and the Sheila Jackson-Lees of the world scream "racism!" all they want, Republicans. The only reply you'll need is this: "Blah, blah, blah. Yadda, yadda, yadda."
