And the Rickles and Newharts have been best friends for forty or fifty years now!
There is a documentary on Don Rickles called “Mr. Warmth- the Don Rickles Story”. I believe his son did it- it’s streaming on Netflix (or was awhile back, anyhow), and definitely worth watching. The funniest documentary you’ll ever see!
I still remember his line about Mexicans making the white lines on the highway by walking down the center after a dose of Kaopectate. Most of his humor is anathema to the left.
They don’t seem to understand that being insulted by Rickles is a badge of honor.
I am just glad to hear he is still alive.
Even when Rickles rolled his eyes of made the comment about Sarah Palin “losing”, Bristol had a smile on her face and was very pleasant towards Rickles. I really think Rickles was impressed by Bristol, but I admit I am a bit prejudiced.

At the end of the show, Rickles went over to her and thanked her for being a good sport, which she really wasn't BTW. I have neer understood why people would go see an entertainer that they obviously don't enjoy. Maybe the lady's kids took her there, who knows. I remember going to see Drew Carey when he first hit the spotight. His stand up act was laced with profanity that we didn't expect after seeing him on TV.
Leno was fairly polite...a few mild digs.
Bristol did a great job...first time I have ever seen her on camera responding...she is fine looking too...beautiful girl..wow
The audience was about 90% anti-Palin..no shocker.
Given Bristol's comments...I would boost my gut feeling Palin may actually run....she should not wait too long...early fall latest
don't give me Reagan 1979 December comparable folks...Reagan was in full campaign mode with boots on the ground in each state from 1976 on....Sarah simply does not have that out there yet...according to GOP state folks I know here in TN anyhow..and folks on this forum who do this for a living

Yep, Brystol is attractive and an author just like her lovely mom. I found her quite charming in the clip I saw of her appearance. Despite her young mistakes, she is maturing. Glad to see the family so happy, despite all the hatred sent their way.

Bristol: Yeah. I think she will.
I think Sarah is running, despite the contrary inside predictions from Romney, Obama, and all the other far-left liberals. I wonder if this word choice was a hint that Bristol thinks "Mom" is both going to run and going to win.
I'm not a fan of Bristol's mistakes, obviously, but she handled herself quite well.
