Gay, Straight or other; who cares? California Insane.

California is once again proving why it is the butt of so many jokes. If you were under any illusion that California’s leaders had some, tenuous, grip on reality then try this on for size: New state law requires LGBT history in textbooks

Public schools in California will be required to teach students about the contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans-gender Americans starting Jan. 1 after Gov. Jerry Brown on Thursday signed a controversial bill to add the topic to the social sciences curriculum.

When did we cross the line from considering the contributions of individuals sans reference to sexual preference? Shouldn’t we simply acknowledge the contribution of the individual and call it a day. How would the average person react to a history book that read something like “Thomas Edison, an heterosexual, invented the light bulb”?

How does the sexual preference or race or color or any other liberal, Marxist, ideological moniker contribute to the discussion?

But it gets better…

Textbooks now must include information on the role of LGBT Americans, as well as Americans with disabilities, though California’s budget crisis has delayed the purchasing of new books until at least 2015.

So how will they know which of the founding fathers was gay or which notable inventors was gay?

Of course Harvey Milk will have a prominent place in this insane text.

But they won’t mention his association with The People’s Temple and Jim Jones.

Make sure you teach ALL of gay history.

Start with Sodom and Gomorrah.

I’ve always wondered if the first gay person was born that way, or if he just decided to become one?

Romans chapter 1 answers that.

Kids, enough about valley forge and general washington’s military decisions. This next chapter will be about how his men satisfied their sexual urges. Turn to your vocabulary sheet where we will go over our new words. Start with ‘homosexual.’

It has been pointed out that 24% of California’s population is Mexican or Mexican American, and with California just hemorrhaging businesses that employ middle class people, in a relatively short time, the State is going to have only two groups: Wacko Moonbats in Sacramento trying to force their insanity on surly Mexicans.

There was an openly homosexual man, named Bayard Rustin, who worked with Dr. King on the March on Washington in 1963.

We can learn about Bayard Rustin for his work in the civil rights movement. But we don’t need to learn that he was homosexual.

I figure that if a homosexual was involved in history somehow, he was involved in something other than his/her homosexuality. And any such study of history should just include that, not the fact that someone is a homosexual.

This bill is just more liberal claptrap. And it will morph into teaching about homosexuality and the whole “gay agenda”. It won’t be restricted to talking about historic people who happened to be homosexual. It will end up teaching homosexuality as a positive thing.

homosexuals lie.

they claim ALL the dead.

where they can not claim it, they make up history as they did in the 1950’s with regards to the ancient world.

california needs to collapse.

It doesn’t address whether they were born that way or not, just that they were wicked and God gave them over to wickedness and that sort of stuff.

That is the answer. The result of sin and man's depravity eventually leads to homosexuality. Many people think that homosexuality eventually leads to a judgment in eternity (which it does); but what they overlook is homosexuality is in itself, a judgment here on earth.

When parents do not bring their children up "in the admonition of the Lord", they open the door to kids exploring their sexuality in ways outside of the boundaries God intended.

Of course, homosexuality can be forgiven, and thousands of former homosexuals can get victory over it; eventually leading lives that glorify God. I personally know many; one is a Christian counselor today that helps homosexuals come out of darkness.

There is zero evidence of a homosexual gene in DNA. That fact alone blows a hole in the myth that children are born homosexuals. That has been documented, but it didn't get the press it deserves.

The laws of logic dictate that if we accept something as true, then all other possibilities are false.

Good discussion.

Are you meaning everyone is a homosexual except those brought up in the admonition of God?

Not at all. But Scripture is clear that homosexuality is a by-product of wickedness and a life lived apart from God. That is not to say that it happens within a generation; but as rebellion towards God grows....it leads to that. Worse still is its acceptance as a legitimate choice of lifestyle within communities.

Translation: (1) the municipality/state is basically saying Jesus Christ didn't fulfill 365 separate and distinct prophecies that proves he is who he says he is. (2) furthermore, the God of the Bible isn't someone where every human is accountable to (3) therefore, there is no moral standard

The debauchery that happens at gay pride parades in San Francisco and New Orleans are examples of communities that have increasingly exalted their sin. So it not only effects those that get caught up in the lifestyle, but spiritually speaking, it affects the attitudes towards homosexuality.

The only example of societies that have "recovered" from accepting homosexuality are those that have turned to the God of the Bible. And that is the story of Western Civilizaiton.
