Yeah Jug Ears, go ahead and go to the American people. Rassmusen says they don’t think a whole lot of raising the limit on your credit card.
God, this guy needs to be cuffed up ‘side his head.
You know, it’s just possible that Obama and the Dems have NO other plan.. They thought f’sure the Pubbies would roll over on this..that’s what is scaring them. There is NO playbook on this.. no one knows what could happen, and it could well blow up in the Dems’ faces..it’s out of control..it has a life of its own now..
1. We must streamline the size of government to free up more money for the private sector.
2. We must overhaul the income tax system to reduce compliance costs and encourage Americans to keep their savings and capital investments in the USA.
3. We must "put the foot down" on the excessive speculation on Wall Street that caused the mess in the first place.
Like it or not, if Obama can't address these issues, he is not deserving of another term in office as President.
Dont call my bluff. Im going to the American people on this.
Oh, please don’t throw me in that briar patch!
The bill should also direct all revenues to debt service, military pay, and SS-Medicare.
I don’t think Reid can hold vulnerable D senators in line if SS checks are on the line for their constituents. They know that BO is a sinking electoral ship next year.
That is a nonsensical statement. You NEVER say: "Don't call my bluff". That gives away that it is a bluff.
Actually, McConnell is playing this really smart. The House Republicans are planning on giving him the permission to do the debt ceiling raise on his own, with out their permission.
Obama is pissed because, then he cannot blame the Republicans for the economy, which is what his handlers are trying to get away with. He is pissed because he cannot run away from his record now.
Hope he pops a vein his his head.
“Tense” in a wordy, pussified, lawyerly way I’m sure.
Let me know when they unpack the dueling pistols.
Then I’ll know we are on our way back from the abyss.
If he admits he’s bluffing why not go “all in” on him?
With all due respect, BO understands none of that. He and Biden believe that government can create wealth.
They are in total denial.
ha! Please let this be his public meltdown I have been dreaming of witnessing.
Please explain your first paragraph... Are you suggesting that the GOP leaders know what they are doing?

Why not go all in? Because that is EXACTLY what he wants the Republicans to do. The SS checks go out the 3rd. He wants to call a ‘default’ on the second. That is why chose that day to make a decision by.
McConnell and Cantor won’t play his game and take the blame for a shut down and then (by proxy) a bad economy. That is what Clinton did in ‘95 and THAT is who is advising Obamsky here.
The GOP says to him that he can raise the limit on his own. We vote against it, but if you want to crash the country, it is on your head. That is the scenario and this is why Obamsky is having a melt down.
I hope he goes “to the American people”. He’s been there so often I think that all but the most ardent supporters have their eyes glaze over when he appears.
OTOH, I think the empty suit is not capable of holding those thoughts. Regardless, it is not what he thinks, it is what his puppet masters think.
Yes. That is what I am saying. That is why Obamsky is melting down right now.
I agree 100%, and if the US economy implodes like what happened in the fall of 1979 and most of 1980, Obama is finished and many Democrats in Congress may go down with him.
Punk
Problem is, I don’t trust Cantor either.
