The mistake here is the usage of “WSJ”
Do you know that most news organizations have OFFICIAL blogs? They are controlled by the news organization and represent the viewpoints of its editorial boards or journalists.
Those are very valuable to us. If I see something that is on the official blog of a newspaper, that lets me know that the newspaper is working on that and that blog represents the thoughts of someone at the Newspaper
So, if you link to an official blog of WSJ, then feel free to post “WSJ” in the source link.
But, if all you are doing is linking to a comment someone posted on a community board, then calling it “WSJ” is wrong. Yes, the comment may physically be on WSJ but it is NOT a blog by the WSJ news-staff or editorial board. It is just a comment on their community board. It has not been vetted by WSJ
