There used to be a notation of how many times a thread had been viewed as well as how many replied had been made. That went away after a crash, I think.
Speaking of which, I am not very versed in the technicalities of how a system actually works; but, I know enough to be very appreciative of the amount of work and diligence it must take to keep this site up and running as well as it does.
