What a bunch of crap from Schultz. When he lived in Fargo,
he was a well known hunter and had a very nice gun collection.

Schultz: Now Boortz in my opinion in my analysis is he was advocating murder in the streets of Atlanta. Now this guy reaches 4 million listners and I guarantee you Boortz was not thinking of white thugs when he was listing to Hip Hop radio...
I have been in the situation of using deadly force in self-defense, and I didn't even notice the skin color of the thugs before acting (no, I don't give many details on the event). I noticed a disturbance, followed by the weapons and the threat to my family, and then I reacted in accordance with my training. Race? Not even a consideration.
Another observation: In the situation described by Boortz, in which a carjacker is threatening your life, a free person has both a God-given moral right (and obligation) to self-defense and a legal right to the same action. This is not racial, nor is it murder. It is common sense and a human responsibility. If you are capable of taking down one of those thugs, you are likely saving the life of an innocent person who could otherwise be the next victim. One important detail is to be VERY careful what, if anything, you say to the police in this situation. My suggestion: "I was attacked. I want a lawyer." I would suggest saying almost nothing else, and certainly not that you shot to kill, since we would not do that. You shot to stop the threat (once or twice center mass to avoid missing, and then perhaps the head in case of body armor if the thug was still standing), perhaps even in response to a sudden movement with the weapon that you interpreted as preparing to shoot, but not to kill.

In Oregon...in Concealed Carry class my husband was told you MUST yell that “I fear for my life” or something like that...before you shoot....and god forbid the person who shoots someone who is ONLY stealing a computer.

Cenk Yugur has implied with his remark that he believes all the thugs in Atlanta to be black. That is a pretty solidly racist remark, I think and speaks to his own prejudices.
