BTW, on account of the discoveries at Göbekli Tepe, a site in Turkey with buried 12,000 year old stone carvings of a religious nature, it is now believed that RELIGION came first, and then civilization and agriculture.
Earlier, before these discoveries, the standard party line was that religion came on the scene only after people had an agricultural surplus and settled living conditions. Yet, here in Turkey it's pretty obvious nomads had religion ~
Without religion, and faith, there is no civilization!

As for “Christian” atrocities, whenever mortals presume supremacy over Scripture, then the souls as well as the bodies of men are in danger, as things from the carnal means of the Inquisitions to the Utah War manifest, in contrast to N.T. Christianity.
He’s always been a bomb-thrower and seemed like he had some major issues. I am Orthodox and I don’t recognize anything Orthodox in what he writes, so he has either moved on from there or is a OINO. Another of his blog entries deals with his experiences at that “Wild Goose” leftist freakfest in North Carolina.
I think that Francis Schaffer may have not been a good father, and becoming a liberal was his son Frank’s way of retaliation.
