I’m getting me some of these. For the record, these are old style carbon filament bulbs. As you can see, they put out about 380 lumens while sucking down 60 watts. Compare that to a regular 60 watt tungsten filament light bulb that pours out about 800 lumens of light. Oh, and the improvement from carbon filament to tungsten came about without any government low interest guaranteed loans, stimulus plans, threats of global warming, or the involvement of the Department of Energy or the EPA.

Liberals are little totalitarian control freaks...

They ALL want the power of a "TSA" agent - the power to inflict misery on innocent citizens.

But it's still a capitalist system, and people will find ways around liberal's desire to try to make us miserable. The LCD's are better than the corkscrew lights - some low flow toilets work - if you're willing to pay big bucks for the better ones...

We just have to keep working around liberal elites... stop them from hurting us...
