Not true. Check my post history. I was just part of a long thread where that statement was thoroughly debunked. OK. I will.

This is the first time you posted anything supporting the two U.S. parent "requirement" of NBC. Prior to this, you dabbled in dual citizenship as early as October '08 but I can find nothing about the two citizen parent issue prior to the link I posted.
If you know of an earlier post, please correct me.
November 19th, 2008 is the first post I can find on Free Republic arguing that Obama is ineligible because NBC requires both parents to be U.S. citizens. This is well after Obama was elected and corresponds to Leo Donofrio raising the issue.
Prior to the election and prior to Donofrio, nothing. Yet people now claim this alleged "requirement" is the law of the land, always has been, and is not subject to debate.
My goodness. I appreciate your diligent research into my post history. November 26, 2008 may well be the first time *I* mentioned the jus sanguinis requirement for natural born citizen status on this forum. It certainly does not indicate when I learned of it, however. I credit my high school civics teacher for that.
But I really did not mean for you to have to do so much digging. I was just on a thread the other day where the statement "nothing before November" was debunked.
Here is a link to one of the more apropro posts (click). These go back to June and July of 2008. Considering Obama's surprise upset of Clinton for the Democrat nomination was June 3rd, 2008 (IIRC) I would say FReepers were ahead of the curve and deserve a good deal of praise for their diligence.
