The people in Peoria could take inspiration from the tactics of some businesses and malls: Perhaps everyone in the neighborhood, by prearrangement, could switch on the local classical music station on every radio in the area, aim their speakers out their windows, and maybe turn up the volume as the mob approaches.—Not to blast the music like a weapon at the mob, but to simply make sure everyone in the street can definitely hear it as they march down the blocks. A Little Night Music.

Yeah right. After all, it worked so well in A Clockwork Orange.
