Really, Chris?
So pointing out that there are anti-American members of Congress proves you’re a flake? Wallace owes Michele Bachmann an apology.
Just wondering… When was the last time a reporter asked Barack Obama if he was a flake for trying to spend his way out of a recession?
IIRC, Rush was singing Chris Wallace’s praises just the other day.
Let’s see if this changes Rush’s perception of the weasel.

Krauthammer calling Cain “a candidate for amusement purposes only.” .....Wallace calling Bachmann a “flake.” ......and pretty much everyone over at FNC denigrating Palin at every opportunity. FOX is engaged in an all-out war against the conservative candidates.
Has Wallace got the goods on his bosses, or what? Is there no adult supervision at Fox? Until some guest pulls off his or her headphones and walks off the set, and her or her spouse follows up with some well-thought out retaliatory action, this king of unacceptable garbage will just continue.
....and prospective candidates.

Michele is used to questions like that. She has handled herself well all the times she has opened herself up for scorn by walking right into the studios of the left.
One thing she knows how to do is deal with stuff like this. It was probably more unexpected from Wallace, but it does show how superior Wallace sees himself as being. Wallace is quite capable of being the more subdued and correct Chris Matthews.
In a way, I am glad Chris did this because it is very telling.
Not so awful because even though it was an unbelievably disrespectful and arrogant question Michele handled it brilliantly.
She handed Sissy his azz. MB listed her credentials and refused to let Wallace interrupt her and return to blasting her while she told him that she was pretty much insulted by the accusation. I couldn't help thinking about how much more accomplished MB is than Wallace. As she was going over what she considered to be her serious side, it was sort of embarrassing when you thought about how really "non-serious "Ol Lightening Round" Wallace is.
Wallace is a twerp and MB, like Palin a few weeks ago, wound up pretty much having the last word with the clown.
I didnt see her response but asking the question puts it on the table and allows the candidate to dismiss the contention .(something they would love to do) Asking that question is not a bad thing for an interviewer to do ...I realize that FR is now a thin skin derby but there is no reason to be mad at Chris Wallace .
Savage’s nom-de-lib for him is Meatball Jr., a reference to his old man’s propensity for throwing food in a hissy.

The question should have been "do you really believe there are anti-American members of congress, and if so, who are they?", not "are you a flake?" Had he asked the former question he might've received answer. ...an answer we all would like to hear. But asking the latter question just highlights Wallace's immaturity and unprofessionalism.
If that question was posed to Hilary, Chris would get the mandatory CACKLES that resonates all the way up from the CANKLES.

Loved her answer. I was very impressed with her personal background.
I disagree ....I think all he is saying is “there are a bunch of liberals out there who want you to be labeled as a flake .......what to do you say to them?”
Since it comes from his lips she doesnt have to say bad things about liberals which in their view makes her a flake.
