There is another player, an element if you will, that the writer omit’s, the MSM. I have never been more aware of a complete abdication of responsibility by a “profession” to serve the public, (a once proudly upheld tradition). Instead they have become a propaganda arm of their own intrest. Libyian Rebels??? Show me, all I hear is rhetoric. Debt crisis??? They just print money...what crisis...besides like me, the gov’t can proirtize obligations, like intrest on the debt, and reduce spending on the “want’s” like Ohh I don’t know how many maiden’s in waiting does Meeechelle have? Or 99 weeks of free money to able bodied people who do not ever try to replace a lost job...not unsympathetic here, but a case by case analysis
is needed, not a broad Gov’t mandate. All this the Media hype’s or Ignores, depending on what picture it serves them to paint.
Leading from behind is not leadership. Especially when you prod your allies the ones youre leading into doing your dirty work.
I think Obama has handled the Libyan issue quite well. Libya provided about 10% of European oil and only 2% of ours. It’s about time Europe carried its weight in it’s own defense. There are some promising developments in the Libyan struggle. Google “Libya news” to keep up to date. I find UK Telegraph site fairly informative.
