Just a few examples. Their rags are dying, so they try to be provocative to get you to buy their rags to read it (in order to be outraged, I guess?), thereby allowing them to continue printing their rags.

Don't feed into it. Ignore them and they'll go away.

My son brought home a note saying we had to "contribute" some amount for "Time for Kids." I refused. The teacher called me to find out what the problem was. I told her I didn't want my kids brainwashed by a leftist magazine. She said it wasn't like that, and I gave examples of heavy handed indoctrination in that mag (some articles are OK, others are ideological). I never paid for it.
