Artifactish by Squeeky Fromm

There is a face, I do declare,
A face they say that isn’t there.
“It isn’t there”, is what they say.
Oh, how I wish it’d go away

I looked again, I had to see,
And it was smiling there at me.
As big as life on the Abstract,
Or is it just an artifact???

Go away, go away. And end this episode.
Go away, go away. Are you a Sekrit Code???

Oh, I am trying NOT to stare
And see the face that isn’t there.
“It isn’t there”, is what they say.
Oh, how I wish it’d go away!!!

Note: This poem is based on Antigonish by William Hughes Mearns. Wiki says Mearns is credited with the well-known rhyme, composed in 1899 as a song for a play he had written, called The Psyco-ed. The play was performed in 1910 and the poem was first published as “Antigonish” in 1922.

Antigonish

Yesterday upon the stair
I met a man who wasn’t there
He wasn’t there again today
Oh, how I wish he’d go away

When I came home last night at three
The man was waiting there for me
But when I looked around the hall
I couldn’t see him there at all!
Go away, go away, don’t you come back any more!
Go away, go away, and please don’t slam the door

Last night I saw upon the stair
A little man who wasn’t there
He wasn’t there again today
Oh, how I wish he’d go away

The following is from an earlier essay this month from Leo:

"I am not a person who needs to see anymore proof. I believe now and have always believed President Obama was born in Hawaii.
The BC issue and the birther circus surrounding it have served Obama well.

What may be 'laughable' to a stealthy obamanoid is serious constitutional crisis to others.

Is anyone else wondering why it took so long for this precedent to surface?

Minor v. Happerset is hardly fresh evidence. It's been discussed here many times.

Ha! No, we likely won’t.

Obama’s NBC status makes for strange bedfellows indeed. My interest in Leo Donofrio is strictly based on his legal analysis. He sticks to discussion of the legal facts, which is what interests me. He discounts emotional ramblings and agenda-driven bending of the law. (Granted, he was sorely upset with the SCOTUS for their denial of his and Cort’s suits.)

Leo, a stealthy obamanoid? Many FReepers also believe Obama was born in Hawaii and that the real crisis is not his BC but rather his lack of two citizen parents.

Apart from this, the fact remains that we need a public procedure and process for challenge and remedy on the issue of a person’s constitutional eligibility to serve as POTUS.

It’s appalling that after the debacle this issue has become in these years, that Legislatures are simply willing to lope into the future, courting the same madness, which otherwise can be rather simply avoided.

If one state would pass an eligibility statute, the matter can be litigated and settled. There is no downside to this.

The fact that states now seem disinclined to pursue such a reasonable course lends credence to the criticism that the “birther” issue was only about “getting” Obama. It was not. It was, for many, simply about vouchsafing the Constitutional standard by enacting a public procedure and process that addressed the modern circumstance of complicated parentage and birthplace questions.

That is kewl. But why the “Sekrit” spelling?
I believe the real spelling would be better.

I don't think we'll ever sort out how a pro-gay-marriage 9/11 truther who wanted Bush tried for treason ever became the Constitutional scholar of choice on this forum.
WOW! It seems like you should be able to back that up with something...other than rumors by Fogbow and related sites that is, Mr. I'm a lawyer.

No, Leo is not to whom I addressed the post. You are the ‘stealthy obamanoid’, and you started your posts on this thread with little insults aimed at doing the alinsky on anyone not in your anti-birther clique. Your stealthy efforts to ridicule are not so well hidden with Freepers, so why not be more honest and stop trying to toss insults then seek to dissemble when one is tossed back at you? Have you ever spent time on a thread not insulting anyone you deem a ‘birfer’? I can’t recall a single thread on the birth issues where you have been anything more than an insulting little apologist for barry’s fraudulent games.

I think you're missing the point. Leo doesn't attempt to support his claim by pointing to the word "naturalization" in the title of a law. He's asserting that a law which grants citizenship is, in and of itself, an act of naturalizing a group of citizens. (i.e. A natural-born citizen does not require a law to clarify his status.)

The Minor Court also noted that the “substance” of the 1790 act, which granted US citizenship at birth via naturalization, had remained as law up until 1875 when the Minor case was decided. So, clearly, while citizens may either be born or naturalized, some born citizens are simultaneously naturalized at birth.

Dunno why people are dissin’ Leo, he was one of the trailblazers in showing the usurper was ineligible by parentage. The BC was an obvious Soros distraction, sad to see so many fell for it.

If you're talking about this...Recent WND Inquiries Appear To Have Established Obama’s Birth In Hawaii.
...then you need to closely read the end...
I am writing this to clear your attention spans for what will be the most authoritative and well documented analysis I have to offer on the dual national issue concerning Obama’s perpetual POTUS eligibility dilemma. I do not want the circus to obstruct the law.

The only thing "settled" in his mind, according to that article, was the place of birth based upon the immigration files.

And if this...The BC issue and the birther circus surrounding it have served Obama well.
...is the offending statement read it again noting my emphasis.
It never has been about the BC or place of birth. That was the direction the debate was steered, far away from the issue of natural born citizenship were the good ship "I Don't Know My Pop" runs aground.

I haven’t insulted anyone on this thread, yet. But it’s early.

Y’all twist anything I say to into something that was not intended or implied. Y’all b*tch when I disagree with you and b*tch even more when I agree with you.

If I mean to insult anyone, it won’t be a “stealthy effort to ridicule.” I’ll make my contempt perfectly damn clear.

I almost got it totally right. I figured as much.
I was looking it up and replying while you made your defining reply.

I've always said it didn't matter where he was born and it still doesn't.

Regarding the smiley face “A”: That one act alone typifies the degenerate and disrespectful nature of the “effete corp of impudent snobs” that runs interference for this administration. They should use it as their logo.
