I know, no amount of explaining really helps. They really don’t want to hear the truth, it messes with their talking points.
I "have" NO candidate at this point; I am intently listening to all the issues being hashed out in the debates and interviews and will make my best choice based on these in the coming months, as every self-respecting, true conservative should.
I don't vote for a candidate as much as I vote for true conservatism. If a candidate makes questionable comments about a conservative issue, or flip-flops for convenience, I have to back off, no matter who he is. I DO still like Cain, but there are others I like more.
How about you actually live up to your self proclaimed morality. You pompously post around here day after day on moral issues yet are totally willing to go out and lie and lie and lie when you think it will advance your dogma.
What a hypocritical fraud you are. Lying is a sin you know.
You will be called to account for your actions one day.
Good point, and thus the use of the word “almost all” in my post.
He didn’t do what you are saying.
He qualified his statement and said that he woudl demand that they were willing to pledge allegiance to the US. That sharia would not be part of America.
He is completely against allowing it to creep in.
“...Is this before or after he appoints a Muslim to his Cabinet and to the bench?
Cain lost my support when he backtracked just to get the Muslim vote. Muslims vote to get their own elected so that they can introduce Sharia. Look at DEtroit if you need an example....”
Another genius has discovered yet another secret plot — to win the GOP nomination by getting the “Muslim vote.” YES, you nailed it. As we know, the Muslim vote is huge in the GOP, especialy around that GOP hotbed of Detroit.
MAN, another secret plot uncovered!!!!!! GENIUS
You continually make statements about Cain you know are fraudulent. When confronted, you scurry away to make the same fraudulent accusations on a different thread. That is lying. Lying is a sin.
Rather then spend all this time lecturing everyone else about morality, you might want to spend some time reflecting on your own conduct.
No doubt that Obama’s defeat-by whomever-in November 2012 should spark definite improvement even before January 20, 2013. A good portion of what is wrong is fear of him and his policies.
Just bug off, troll.
“...No doubt that Obamas defeat-by whomever-in November 2012 should spark definite improvement even before January 20, 2013. A good portion of what is wrong is fear of him and his policies....”
Indeed true. It worked in reverse also. FTR, the first month of huge layoffs? November of 2008. The total was 533 thousand in that month, I’m thinking this started about the 5th or 6th of that month.
Gee, wonder what might have caused that?
Ok Bullcrapper I looked at your link and it did not show how many jobs his plan would create. It reads the same as all the other candidates. It was like Obama's hope. Reading it was a waste of time that you deem so important. I'll keep looking for the candidate that has a plan not a hope. That's span only to those who have no answers.
Because he may be one of the few people left who actually believes in following the law.
Let me know if this isn't clear, I'll explain it as many times as you require.
“..... It reads the same as all the other candidates. It was like Obama’s hope....”
You’re kidding, right? Cain’s plan is the opposite of what Obama stands for. It is based on proven growth formulas, not proven failures of Keynsian economics and socialist statism. You may not like Cain’s plan or anyone else’s plan, but to say it’s the same as Obama’s hope is just sophistry. It’s just plain wrong and demonstrably so.
And why the hang up on claiming how many jobs it will create? That’s only done by big government statists who think government can create jobs.
It can’t. I’m beginning to think you don’t realize that.
Cain is very far from being wobbly. He has been pro-life long before he contemplated running for any public office. He is a superb, longstanding advocate for life and against abortion, and it is a calumny to call this principled man “wobbly”.
Number of jobs is an objective measurement. Obama claimed his plan would reduce the unemployment to 8%. He was wrong. His plan didn't work. The number of jobs is what separates a plan from bullcrap. Sorry, if what Cain, also others, proposes is 'proven', put an objective number on it, otherwise, it is like Obama's hope.
Then Cain needs to be more up front about that when he refused to sign a pledge to be pro-life. His failing to do so grouped him, inadvertently or not, with Romney, the King of Abortion Rights.
I was also disappointed in his answers on marriage. The press had him "implying" that he is not in favor of a federal marriage amendment when he said "states' rights" in the debate. That's fine, but causes a lot of ambiguity with anyone's interpretation being plausible. A lot of homosexual activists also, at least publicly, have this states-rights position. In fact, the case against DOMA in Mass. is relying on EXACTLY this argument.
In a CNN interview, Cain would only answer that he is in favor of traditional marriage. No more elaboration, even when asked what he thought of "civil unions." This is exactly the answer that Ø gave us, if you remember.
The appalling thing is the apparent lack of understanding of what a FMA would and wouldn't do. It wouldn't take away states rights, so this isn't a mutually exclusive question of whether you are in favor of a federal marriage amendment or states rights. Herman should have clarified what he believes.
Any candidate can tell you a number. Obama’s done it a thousand time. What good is that number? Cain’s (or anyone else’s ) plan does not exist in a vacuum. A great plan is affected by what others (Congress or the individual states, for example) do to advance the plan or derail the plan. If you want a range of numbers of jobs that might be created, that’s one thing. But to require a specific number is pointless.
“Is this before or after he appoints a Muslim to his Cabinet and to the bench?”
He clearly stated that he would only “hire” a Muslim if he was sure that that person believed in the Constitution, not Sharia.
Lets see. Some of your posts on the thread:
when people appear wobbly on the particular issue of abortion and the right to life, it turns out that they are wobbly for a reason.
He also backtracked on hiring an "openly gay" - read: activist - to his staff.
I "have" NO candidate at this point I DO still like Cain, but there are others I like more.
Wow, you have a funny way of showing how you 'like' Herman Cain. Wild unsuported leaps to the words "wobbly" and "backtrack". Speaking of trolls, you actually fit the definition of a .
