Yesterday I parked at a Starbucks and while walking to the place noticed a car (no, it was not a Prius) with the stupidest bumper sticker ever. Actually it had two: The first was that COEXIST one which is also stupid. Because the problems we have today aren't because of Christians fighting with Muslims fighting with Jews fighting with Buddhists fighting with Shintos fighting with Zoroastrians fighting with athiests. The problem is freaking Muslims and left-wing socialist-Marxist secular-"progressive" athiests.
But I digress. The other bumper sticker was the real stupid one. It said, "It wouldn't kill you to learn Spanish."
???
Discuss.
I took Spanish in high school.
I learned enough to now what the creeps behind me are saying and can speak enough to p*ss them off and possibly get me killed.
:D
If I planned to move to a Spanish-speaking country, I certainly would. But I live in an English-speaking country.
It wouldn’t kill you to go back to Mexico.
Oh, wait...
I seen the same one but on her car the other sticker was “supporting a woman’s right to choose”. Volvo sedan.
>>>”It wouldn’t kill you to learn Spanish.”
It wouldn’t kill them to learn English either.
And it’s rather hard to coexist when one particular religion wants me to convert, pay them to be left alone, or die. I will not submit... so, there’s only once choice left for me in their holy book.
Hysterical. LMAO.
Same here. I speak enough Spanish to keep them off guard. Once coming out of a 7-11 near where I live(and the Mexican illegals hang out) I had one looking at me kinda funny so I said in German “Guten tag, schissekopf!’’(Good morning sh!thead!’’) Man did he look at me weird!
Learning a foreign language makes your brain stronger. Like learning math, or learning a musical instrument.
But I don’t think that’s what they meant. :)
God do I love diversity!! : - D
To have both of those bumper stickers on the same car makes it especially ironic.
For those in Rio Linda: Coexist means “doing what it takes to coexist”. That means that in the US a person who did not speak English and was serious about it would, as their first act, learn fluent English.
“On a truck back window today I saw a decal that said, Infidel, and then the same word under it in Arabic.”
I have two shirts that have the same thing printed on them. However, my understanding is that the Arabic portion reads “Down with Allah” or something to that effect.
In any case, if this offends someone, then though shit.
Mission Accomplished.
I like it, too!
Need to get one for my truck! It’ll fit right there with my “9MM Beats 9-1-1 Every Time” and “IMPEACH OBAMA” stickers.
You capisce Yiddish? Vaffanculo
I’ll try and one-up you: the stupidest bumper-sticker I ever saw was “Pavement Is Forever”
