$2995 for a coaching stipend. If you put in the hours that it takes to be a football coach, it is just north of 300 hours per season, so that comes to about $10 per hour to herd cats for 12 weeks.

300 hours doesn't even begin to cover it...besides at most jobs that would be considered at overtime rates. Coaching is a big job with not many acolades unless you have a winning season.

Herding cats is not the problem...herding parents is where the headache begins.
