There is NO way Matthews is a right winger. I refuse to watch Matthews so I have no idea what he has said.

I also refuse to believe there is a conspiracy against Palin. Why would there be? She's not even a candidate and even if she becomes one, why would anyone think she is entitled to the nomination just because she shows up? That would be a coronation and all the candidates can work for it. I don't think this will fly in Iowa. We're spoiled. We expect to be able to see these candidates personally--several times. She cannot expect to show up here in Jan. and expect Iowans to just simply vote for her because she's Sarah Palin. It isn't going to work.

People's reactions to a more matronly woman (think Thatcher) may be more favorable.

Rush was talking aout this I think....people jealous about Palin's looks.

I can't imagine basing a vote on something as shallow as this.

Oh, and if you think voting for anyone just to get rid of Obama is a great idea? Look at Cali and how Arnold "helped" us just so we wouldn't get Bustamonte. Yeah, that plan doesn't work at all.

Seriously, you're way better off sticking to voting your values not who's more popular or looks too pretty for you.

Scott Rasmussen doubling down as part of the vast right-wing conspiracy today on Fox News by claiming that a majority of Republicans don’t want Palin to run.

So how do you explain Palin being in second place when you average the last 10 national polls post-Huckabee, and winning the recent HA poll of GOP contenders outpolling her next 3 opponents combined?

Guess who doesn’t want Palin to run:

1)Romney supporters

2)Bachmann supporters

3)Cain supporters

4)Pawlenty supporters

5)Paul supporters

6)Santorum supporters

7)Huntsman supporters

I wonder why they all feel that way. Maybe because they all know Palin would be a formidable opponent if she ran.

The quality lacking at Sarah's age could be experience and have nothing to do with looks.

Well, back to CA, which doesn't mean much but it would still have been a choice between Arnold and the RAT. Given that choice, I would have chosen Arnold because as bad as he was the RAT probably would have been worse.

We have to be realistic about the choices put before us. We are never going to create heaven on earth--it isn't going to happen. We must do the best we can.

I have no clue who will be getting my support at the Straw Poll or caucus. I know I will be going for the most conservative I can get who is also electable.

That’s the whole point that I was making. The anti-Palin forces know their window of opportunity is closing. They have to take her down sometime in the next 4-6 weeks or they risk that she will pick up a head of steam and barrel past Romney shortly after she declares.

There are NO secrets in politics. They all know what Sarah Palin brings to the table. It’s called political shock and awe. Judge Napolitano said it would be a game changer if Palin got into the race.

It’s either take her down now or risk Sarah Palin being in the White House until 2020 restoring America as a Reagan conservative.

If you’re right then you need to be talking to Palin and telling her that her window of opportunity is closing.

What the people on these boards say doesn’t mean anything except to the people on these boards. Rollins is a known name and he is the voice of Bachmann. What he says, she says unless she refudiates it, which she hasn’t. As a woman , aren’t you offended by his comment? Even Bachmann should be offended by such a sexist comment.

Hmm let’s see rumor of Perry running, no announcement. Rumor of Giuliani running, no announcement.DeMint. Nothing. Are these guys serious candidates? Where have they been as far as addressing national and international news and events for the past two years? I haven’t heard a peep out of either of them, yet they are serious and Sarah isn’t , the Sarah who has been speaking out against all the wrongs that Øbama has done against the citizens of this country? The Sarah who went into the belly of the beast, took it right to the opposition in Wisconsin. Those guys are serious and she isn’t? She isn’t serious because she hasn’t set up infrastructure in the early primary states, but Perry and Giuliani and DeMint have? I doubt it.

Again , what about the word unconventional do you not understand?

Palin said she will be making her decision in the summer. In school I learned summer doesn’t start until June 21. I think it’s called the summer solstice.

Palin is right on schedule, as she says observing the lay of the land and entrenched in 2nd spot in the polls (RCP avg today at 16.0 with nobody behind her in double digits who has participated in at least 50% of the polls conducted post-Huckabee.

Thus it’s not Palin’s window of opportunity that is closing but her enemies’ ability to stop her.

By the way in the last Iowa Report weekly survey (June 8, 2011) it showed Palin now tied for the lead with Romney among who the Iowa caucus goers would now support: 19% apiece and among LIKELY VOTERS Palin leading with 16%.

At least in Iowa I don’t think her window of opportunity is closing. And Palin hasn’t set foot in Iowa since fall last year.

What part of, “The longer she stays out, the longer she STAYS out.”, don’t you understand?

Unfortunately, it isn’t the vast right wing conspiracy who will stop Sarah Palin from running for president. It is her friendship with Rick Perry. She’s been waiting for word he’ll jump into the presidential race...she’s gotten it...so she is out. It will take unusual circumstances provided by The Lord to change that.

I didn’t miss it, I just don’t for one second believe it.I don’t put much stock in polls conducted by liberals that are put out to push one agenda, get Palin.

I guess you must have missed this , an uncompromised (that means no multi voting) internet poll among conservatives.

The polling agent was Rasmussen. Not Hot air like you think.

Which clearly illustrates that you are not paying very close attention to any other sources.

Rollins’ statement is mild by comparison. I only knew of him saying she is not serious and I would have to agree with him. If she’s serious, she isn’t showing it.

Sorry Great Granny, you are wrong. There is more.

Rollins has said the following as Bachmann's campaign manager.

And Bachmann has refused to walk any of it back.

Disgraceful.

“I agree with most of your conclusions, but I don’t agree with calling it a “Right Wing” conspiracy. It is a conspiracy among the “elite” Georgetown Cocktail Party set both Republican and Democrat against the Country Party — which is pretty much the rest of America.”

Precisely.

I certainly hope you are right and I am wrong. Sarah Palin is the only one who can be trusted at this point as President. She will do the right thing for this nation...she is not one of those untrustworthy types who are politicians...
