That’s awesome! Kilmer is by far your most loveable character and an excellent central character. I can discern a lot about your own experiences through him. Reminds me a lot of my buddy Allan, God rest his soul.
He did 5 tours in Iraq as a Sgt. in the USMC. Never wanted to leave, came back home, couldn’t adjust, and took his own life one morning after breakfast. I miss him greatly, and this story would’ve made him proud.
