I don't think that this will come as a surprise to anyone: even though Anthony Weiner dressed up as a woman, sent obscene photos to various Twitter followers, and sent a message to a minor, liberals are mourning his coming departure.

In MA we had the Perv in the Prius, State Sen. James Marzilli who did sexual harrassment when visiting Lowell. He tried to flee, gave a fake name, etc. Ultimately he did resign, served a very short jail term, etc. As soon as he was arrested, one lib went on a messageboard and said they had to fight it;
surely it was a frameup, etc. and many on the Left were sorry to see their champion go, in such a manner...

So you know...the “Q” in “LBGTQ” stands for “Questioning”, as in questioning which gender the person prefers. The only reason I know this is that the question came up in King County during their “celebration” of ‘gender equality’ not that long ago.

I didn't watch the whole thing, but he was pretty funny on that clip. In retrospect, his Twitter comments come across creepy, but at the time they would have seemed innocent.

Most of the times I saw him on the talking head shows, he was bitter and lying and angry, while pretending to joke.

In the end, like Spitzer, he burned too many bridges to people who might have come to his aid or defended him. Churlish people do not inspire loyalty from anybody. They couldn't toss him overboard fast enough.
