"Without Palin, we would not have the Tea Party movement, ..."
Pure B.S.! She road the Tea party wave, not the other way around! Some of us were already protesting Government spending when Bush was proposing the first TARP scheme. She not only supported that mess, but blamed the GOP House members who opposed it for the election loss. Bachmann was one of those who opposed it and got thrown under the bus by Sarah. I wish people would stop trying to rewrite history!

Palin made the Tea Party relevant and gave it political credibility with her endorsements. Nikki Haley and Rand Paul (and others) owe their victories to her endorsement. Simple as that.

The first Tea Parties were on April 15, 2009.
At that time Palin was still Alaska Governor and was not involved in the Tea Party at all.
The first Tea Parties were a huge success.
Palin resigned in July of 2009. So....no matter how Palin fans try to rewrite history, the facts and dates make their claims false.
The media tries very hard to attach a politician to the Tea Party so they can isolate it, marginalize it, and demonize it.
It would be nice if people on our side would not help the media by giving credit where it isn’t due in order to pump up a candidate. The beauty of the Tea Party has been that the media isn’t sure who to demonize.
