I am very glad to have met all of you. Usually one must navigate to /b/ to find such mature and interesting commentary.
Seriously, it always amazes me how the forums that claim to be open to free expression have more rules than the IRS code and treat the act of linking to one's own site to be equivalent to a felony. And God forbid if someone should link to a site that sells advertising alongside their content because somehow that is proof that the linker is morally equivalent to a sex worker.
As I write this, I am struck by the words below this window "No personal attacks". I am not sure to whom this rule applies because I see personal attacks all over this domain. I guess you believe that some pigs are more equal than others, but if I wanted to hang out with pigs, there's a better caliber of them at Huffpo or Daily Kos.
Yes, it is all about the hits for you. However, it is unusual to find a blogpimp who openly admits it.

Free Republic is a forum for conservatives and can't allow "free expression" of all ideas. Try pushing abortion rights or gun control and you'll see what I mean.
Blogpimping is not a felony, but it is certainly a scummy practice. Is it about the message or is it about the hits? Oh, you already answered that.

There isn't a single "personal attack" in this thread that I can find. Of course, if you're a liberal, you may take offense at any challenge and whine about it, sort of like you just did in your post 40.

Pimping your blog is not "hanging out".
Huffpo and Kos are better suited for whiners. Go ahead and give it a shot.
