The Iowa caucuses seem totally bogus. Ethanol subsidies too. Better to hold an early primary in Nebraska.
EVERY SINGLE candidate should skip both the straw poll AND the caucus.
He’s leaving Iowa to his running mate Michele Bachmann.
This week’s Iowa report poll:
Who do you support in the caucuses?
Palin 19%
Romney 19%
Cain 15%
Bachmann 12%
Among LIKELY VOTERS:
Palin 16%
Cain 15%
Paul 15%
Romney 14%
Bachmann 10%
Sarah Palin has NOT set foot in Iowa since she gave a speech there last fall.
Maybe he should just drop out!
LOL...I was just kidding techno.
How in the hell does RuPaul get 15% of likely voters in Iowa? If that’s true, just cancel Iowa.
Ah, I think you’re right.
Runningmate Bachmann has to win Iowa!
Sarah Palin won’t. She’s against ethanol.
Bachmann was born in Waterloo so Iowa has to be Palin’s *Waterloo*.
Hot dayum. Those headlines just write themselves, don’t they?
I thought I was just kidding about Mitt leaving Iowa for Bachmann.
Maybe I wasn’t. :) You’re right, Bachmann’s whole deal is predicated on winning Iowa.
I don’t know how he knew but David Bernstein of the Boston Phoenix predicted this scenario back in February 2010.

That “hillbilly” came from a “Right to Work” State & was pro “fair tax”. And,importantly, He wasn’t a believer in the Oracle Gore.
Paulbots flooding a meaningless straw poll.
Wait until Iowans see The Undefeated and Sarah shows up in person just in time for their straw poll during the fair in August.
:)
Frankly Romney doesn’t even have a look-in in most of the red states, so shoving his finger up Iowa’s nose seems a little ‘uppity’ to me....
However, I have never understood why the crack up whacko Iowa caaucuses always have to be first and why anybody else allows them to carry so much water in the electoral process.
By the time the primaries get to us, a candidate we might have chosen and thrown a buttload of votes for has already schlupped out.
Palin’s skipping it too. /s
I would guess you’re wrong about this movie. For one thing, people don’t really think of Palin as a “politician,” mostly because she doesn’t act like one.
