Perhaps we need something similar. Term limits or a policy that after a politician leaves office for ANY reason, there would be a COMPLETE ban from any government work, working as a lobbyist or for a lobbyist firm, or any crony capitalist type activity. no dog catcher, no party chair, committee chair etc.
