Charles is incredibly offensive re: Palin and he’s something of a faux conservative, but he’s not stupid. He is a medical doctor by training, obviously he’s an accomplished columnist, and sometimes he’s a very good commentator.

I didn't say he was stupid; I said he is not really smart. There's a lot of room in that spectrum.

Krauthammer studied Political Science and Economics, then went to medical school. Smart doctors study pre-med at the undergraduate level, then on to med school. Kraut is a back-door quack.

Several Communists of note had medical training,as did some Nazis. Medical or any other degree doesn’t tell if the holder is good or evil.
