First - Why is a yearbook being produced for 10 yr olds?
Second - Why is a list of the world’s worse people in a yearbook for 10 yr olds?
Third - This is categorically not a mistake. It is a vulgarity, an obscenity and a vicious slander.
Fourth - The Bible says sometyhing about removing an eye if it offends. Removing the page would have gone (largely) unnoticed and been a successful resolution. Taping over the offense only brings attention to the ugliness it promotes.
Fifth - The children must receive immediate and thorough remedial education. Teaching them about people like Stalin and Mao who destroyed generations of children by brainwashing them to hate freedom fighters like Bush and Cheney would be a good start.
Sixth - And most important, this can not stand. This is an offense against civil society. The perpetrators must be severely brought to task and the offense must be thoroughly overcome.
“Why is a list of the worlds worst people in a yearbook for 10 yr olds?”
I was hoping someone would pick up on this. Why indeed? And not just for ten year olds, but for anyone? What connection does such a list have to do with school memories? Is this “Yearbook According to Keith Olbermann?” Yearbooks should stick to the positive, why encourage negativity?
