Yes, “Congress” includes the House and Senate, but for some reason “Congressmen” usually refers to Representatives, exclusive of Senators. Doesn’t really make sense, but I didn’t start it. But yes, you read me correctly. I mean, House members don’t get elected to the Presidency.
They have M.C. after their names: Member of Congress.
The difference is important, just as the difference between calling our nation a Democracy or a Republic.
