Voting the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil, isn’t it?

It's called democracy, deal with it. Like or not democracy is about consensus building. Your not always going to get your preferred candidate. Your opportunity to shape who get's the nomination is in the Republican primaries. You can phonebank, hit the streets and knock on doors, contribute money, etc. But if you bail on the eventual nominee because that person is not conservative enough, what makes you any different than "moderates" and RINO's who threaten to withhold support from your preferred candidate, should he or she get the nod, because they think that person is too conservative?

It's actually a representative republic, not democracy. Deal with it.
