These are losers, but no matter how much we disagree with their message we should be appalled at the police brutality against free speech. On Memorial Day when we remember those who gave all for these idiots to be able to say whatever they want, it is sad to see that not even on FREE republic is there one who sees the danger of what is happening to liberty. Right at the feet of Jefferson.

If you don’t have a permit to demonstrate, you’re breaking the law. They don’t give out permits for inside the Jefferson Memorial.

There was no brutality. A few resisted and were taken down. Nobody was injured.

and by the way, when police ORDER you to do something, and their ORDER is LAWFUL, you are BREAKING THE LAW

fighting against the police is illegal, especially when YOU are the one instigating the response

You have the wrong screen name if you call instigating fights with police conservative

Freedom doesn’t mean I can do as I damn well please whenever I want. Nobody is saying they can’t speak their message. . .they just can’t do it where ever or when ever they want. . .there are rules of order in a free society and one of those rules is when you go to the Jefferson Memorial you enter with a respectful, quiet attitude making sure you don’t disturb others. . .it’s common sense and these human pond scum have none. . .so BRAVO for the PARK POLICE!!. .otherwise, I say why not have code stink come exercise their freedom in your neighborhood, say 3a.m.. .at your house?

Free Republic

“it is sad to see that not even on FREE republic is there one who sees the danger of what is happening to liberty.”

Can you spell DU?

The memorial is about Jefferson and not about IPODs nor is it about CODE PINK. They decided to make themselves the center of attention and we’re asked to leave.

Observe Memorial Day respectfully or get your body slammed.

That seems fair to me.

I posted about this about 3pm this afternoon and after an 80 post discussion (mostly me getting pummeled by FR fascists) my post was yanked.

Be careful not to say anything bad, like what happened was wrong, and it’s the citizens in this country who are being disrespected (check any airport), or you might get tossed off by the FR police, too.

I have no love for code pink, et al. but I’ll bet John Adams didn’t have any love for the British soldiers he defended either. Wrong is wrong.
