Don't forget that she had roughed up by these goons, too. Several times during the interrogation she is asked if she is OK, and does she need an ice pack.
I'm sure the bootlickers are celebrating that.
Get used to it boys and girls. These SWAT teams are just practicing for when they go door to door confiscating weapons. Of course at that point they will be facing armed opponents who are really proficient shootists and who are expecting them. It will be a totally different story at that point.
Maybe he laid it down when he realized it was the police invading the home and not his family’s drug dealing contacts. Some of his family allegedly were involved in dealing drugs, however, police have admitted that he was not. Drug cartels are known to dress like military men and shout police while they invade a house.
I understand that when the wife saw the goons out the window, she woke up Jose and then he put his wife and kid in a closet while he checked out who was outside. She probably could not really see what happened as her husband was executed by the “police.”
Velkommen to Stazi Stat!
What a country.
// Michael Storie, the police union attorney representing Jose Guerena’s killers, has admitted that neither Jose nor his home was specifically mentioned in the warrant, which was served as part of a “complex investigation” into an alleged marijuana smuggling and home invasion robbery ring. //
I this accurate? Neither his name nor address were identified in the warrant?
If that is indeed the case, no doubt the explanation will be “complex”.
Wrong. This is a government who would willingly take over regardless of what the citizens think or say.
Agreed, this is Waco all over again.
They could have stopped hit going to or from work, from would have been the best target time, cuz he's tired etc... and another group could have served the search warrant on his home at the same time.
This was a disaster and the cops made damn sure it happened.
Intelligence and common sense isn't within 100 miles of law enforcement anymore.
Folks all of you better wake up and smell the stale coffee, cuz this crap is growing in frequency each and every day and will be coming to your neighborhood sooner than you think!
BINGO!!!
Needs repeating for the idiots here who cheer this stuff on. The boot lickers and the law and order at any cost conservatives!
Need to go further upstream. Who gave SWAT OSC Krygien the info that Guerena was “the main bad guy”.
Also need to find out who was working in MVD that had access to lic plate numbers used by undercover cars. Big red flag there.
Randy Weaver.....that was another case that really chapped my hide.
Its a shame whats happened to the former America.
Well stated, you're right, this bloody business has gotten way out of hand. I have all the respect in the world for law enforcement officials who are reasonable, obey the law and play by the rules, and treat people with courtesy and respect. I have no regard for thugs who hide behind a badge, and who would shove a gun into the face of a child just for jollies. We don't need Gestapo/SS/police state tactics in a free society.
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
So, any thoughts from FReepers on how these two match up? Seems pretty clear to me. That probably means the uniformed thugs will get honors, awards, and promotions, while the victims have to suck it up, pick up the pieces of shattered lives, and just bury their dead and go on. I'm beginning to think Billy Jack was right ("When the police break the law there is no law but a fight for survival.") RIP, America.
If what Michael Storie said is true... that neither Jose nor his home was specifically mentioned in the warrant, then its over... cops have lost.
If these cops don’t end up in jail, Pima County should and will endure a lawsuit that could very well bankrupt them, as it should.
Personally, I think any cop who had a hand in this raid should stand trial for murder under color of law and if found guilty should be executed.
Waco redux. IIRC, they used the same sniper
