Like I said in the post Erickson detailed very well that half the problem was local NY politics, while the other half was split between an inept candidate and a “Tea Party” spoiler.

True enough but that was no Tea Party candidate and it reflects very poorly on the intelligence of ny’ers and their voting savvy. ny... like Kalifornia... is a lost civilization. If obama wins again... watch for ny and Kalifornia to be the location of gulags and reeducation camps... they are communist enclaves anyway.
