It is not a talking point. Is it not a fact that Palin resigned as governor half-way through her term, voters and state be damned?

No, just the negative spin you and the left put on the action.

Sarah made a brilliant move and gave the left nothing to do where she was concerned and broke out of the bottleneck that they were trying to keep her in.

She has very clearly and intelligently given her reasons for resigning and they have been stated over and over again.

For a rational and sincere conservative that should be enough, for you, and your ilk, anything that you can find to try and put a negative spin on with regards to Sarah seems to be your focus.

You sure repeat yourself a lot. Hopefully you are an old guy. If not, I’d hate to see you when you are an old guy.

I’m with-holding judgement until/if she actually starts campaigning officially. However, when one looks at the complete set of circumstances involved in her decision to resign as AK gov, it should be readily apparent that it was the reasonable, prudent and correct action to take.

This presumes one is actually aware of the complete set of circumstances, is not being intellectually dishonest or playing political games.

Wells of course the same people would be bitching and moaning if she hadn't stepped down.
Some of the leftist talking points would be if she hadn't quit:

“She is neglecting her duties as governor to sell books, what a putz” “;
“She is neglecting her duties as governor to run for president, what a putz”,
“She is neglecting her duties as governor to feed her ego, what a putz”
“She is neglecting her duties as governor to travel out of state and make speeches, what a putz” “

What she did do is said, this isn't all about me. She got out of the way to let someone else take over.
A typical politician would have stayed in office; and had their energy elsewhere.
She is not typical and that sets some people off.
