Emmanuel Kisombe, the permanent secretary in the Ministry for Immigration and Registration of Persons, wrote a letter in July 2008 in reply to a letter from the U.S. ambassador in Nairobi....

Okay while I've gained some newfound respect that at least the Bush Admn TRIED to do something....at the same time....why didn't they make this public for God's sake? Force Obama's hand BEFORE the election?

Shaking my head here.

Note that the confirmation of the tampering and the search for the perps was SECRET within the Kenyan Gov’t and was dated October 2008. The Kenyan gov’t reply to the US (Condi, Bush) did not include the confirmation that the docs were missing but rather a statement they couldn't confirm one way or the other.

The Kenyans could have thrown a wrench in the US election, but then they wouldn't have had the potential to blackmail Obama. Obama was reported this week to have given Kenya $700 million so far, IIRC (big jump in foreign aid).

The Obama “incriminating document destruction team” had from 2004 beginning with his wildly received teleprompter performance up until Feb 2007 when he announced for 2008 to find and destroy or place in friendly, bribed or intimidated hands any adverse records.
